As buscas começaram no dia 9 de junho após ele fugir da cadeia e ser acusado de matar uma família inteira e fazer pessoas de refém.
O bandido começou a fuga em Brasília e foi capturado hoje, dia 28, em Goiás pela polícia.
Lázaro ficou conhecido como ‘Serial Killer de Brasília’ e durante a sua fuga a população da zona rural da região ficou sem sossego algum. Ele também foi acusado de diversos furtos em fazendas da região.
De acordo com a polícia, antes de Lázaro morrer, ele falou “eu vou morrer mas vou levar vocês comigo”. Logo após ele faleceu.
O Brasil inteiro festejou a captura do ‘Serial Killer de Brasília’ e de acordo com os moradores da região, hoje vão voltar a dormir tranquilos.
Uma comerciante da região falou que gostaria que ele tivesse vivo para que pudesse esclarecer todos os crimes que está sendo acusado, mas em contrapartida, disse ter ficado feliz com a captura.
