O caso aconteceu no estado de Arizona, mais especificamente em Tucson, nos Estados Unidos. A história foi contada pelo portal Daily Star, e logo deixou as pessoas revoltadas que se depararam com a triste situação em que vivia está criança.
Segundo informações a polícia chegou no local, e se deparou com a menina desacordada em um dos cômodos da casa. Eles tentaram reanimar a mesma mas sem sucesso, ela estava com o rosto e cabelo coberto por insetos e logo chamou atenção da polícia.
Sandra como foi identificada a mãe da criança, contou que a menina estava doente com febre e tonturas a muito tempo. A autópsia constatou desnutrição, decorrente por uma condição agravadas de piolhos na vítima.
Mesmo diante da situação que se arrastou com a menina durante muito tempo, nem a mãe nem a avó da menina buscaram ajuda. Ela acabou falecendo nestas condições, as duas acabaram presas, acompanhe abaixo o retrato das autoras da negligência.
