O querido cantor Gilberto Gil, acabou pegando os fãs de surpresa com triste notícia. O mesmo através de sua assessoria confirmou a morte de sua irmã caçula.
Gildina Gil, era carinhosamente conhecida como Dina, pela família e amigos. Ela viveu boa parte da juventude em Salvador e Ituaçu (esta localizada no sertão do estado da Bahia e a aproximadamente 450 quilômetros de distância da capital).
Gilberto Gil tinha uma grande afinidade com a irmã, com quem compartilhou suas primeiras canções. O primeiro violão que teve acesso era da irmã Dina.
“São muitas as histórias dos dois, como a que envolve o primeiro violão do artista. Mais interessado em música do que a irmã, Beto “sequestrou” o instrumento que ela havia ganhado e assim começar a dedilhar seus primeiros acordes. Histórias que serão eternizadas na memória de toda a família”, dizia parte do comunicado.
